Moving is stressful for everyone. The more you own the harder it is. Once you have children it gets even more difficult because then you are not just uprooting yourself, you are uprooting the lives of your children. The distance you have to move also greatly impacts the difficulty of the relocation. If you have to drive not only a house full of stuff, but your dog and two hard to keep still children, there is a good possibility that you will not have the greatest experience. The more prepared you are the easier it will be.

Make sure to do as much research as possible when moving. Military housing may not be the most affordable option for you. Many times there is a wait list for military homes for rent, so it is smart to look at off base housing as well. Military homes for rent may be the best option if the new base is located in a smaller town. Military rental homes may be right for you if the move is not intended to be permanent. There are also military houses for sale if you want a more permanent residence or an investment property.

Your children are very important, and one of the most important things to look at when choosing a house is the school ratings in that town. School quality tends to reflect the demographics of the area in which it resides. If you choose to live in a military rental property it would be way easier to move out of an area if you find out once you are there that your children are not happy in the school district.

Even if you have to move to a different state every year, there are people that can help you that are on your side, who understand that every ounce of help counts. There are lots of military homes for rent, and you are sure to find the perfect one just for you. Make sure you do lots of research on military rentals, to find the perfect neighborhood for you and your family to reside in. Whether or not you are happy in your home, will be a big determining factor of whether or not you are happy as a person in general.
